Some say it was time...

Haircuts are almost always a traumatizing experience.  Which is why I avoided it for ten months.  Okay so that's not true, but they really are sad.  Many times I have walked away from a haircut, waiting to find a hat to cover my poor head.
Well it was time for me to get a trim...my hair was quite poofy enough for BYU.   Here's a pic of us a week or two ago.
Thinking we were could fool these sometimes vicious hair snippers, we decided to bring in a picture of my hair about five months ago....the length I wanted.  Here it is.
But alas, our best efforts failed miserably!
And I am left puzzled.
Lib and I figured out that they only really learn how to cut men's hair one way...apparently my haircut preference didn't coincide with that universal trim.
But it's okay...I'm sure it made Mom happy back at home :) And apparently Dad, too!

Last night I went to Gma's and Gpa's to watch the Packer/Viking game (actually to spend some time with them). I took some pictures with--including those taken at Sundance. Grandma says, "what's with Mark's hair?" So, she will also be happy--as I will send her a refreshed view of her grandson! Mom is at the lake and will have to wait to see her son. Nice blog entry; good story; good outcome. Actually, I think the moral of the story is...every guy at BYU gets the same haircut. Should have gone to SLC!! But...you're looking good! Love, Dad (p.s. Libby--thanks for helping him overcome his anxieties!!)

Hmm I've never seen you with short hair...a little weird but not too bad. At least it'll grow out fast.
