Briefly back from the dead that is.
We should be updating the blog slowly about the crazy few months we've had.
These pictures are from our most recent trip to the Adirondacks over Labor Day weekend.
We had a blast!!!

Yes, we made an awesome fire despite the RAIN. Impressive, mark.

Sooo, typical Mark and Libby style, we arrived at 11:30 at night, hiked for 45 mins in the dark to a spot where we were supposed to find some camping spots, and found none. So...the required 150 feet from the trail (ok, it was dark...maybe in the daylight it was more like 80 feet) we just hiked up and found a fairly tree free spot and set up the tent. We slept like babies that night! And we woke up to this amazing lake, it was so beautiful and clear we couldn't resist a morning swim before we set out to the next site, about 4.5 mile in.

Mark did an amazing job keeping our camp sites bear free! He got that bag hanging to high up, every time...yet again impressed by this "Weblow", haha.

Ryan and I just saw this post together and we both gasped opening up the blog. A new post! haha
Awesome photos, so much fun to see. Thanks for the update. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun camping, I love the wild flowers with the autumn leaf
oh my gosh you guys are cool. i wish i was as hard core as you two.
Nice getaway! Great pictures. I am quite embarassed that my sons never achieved the Eagle Scout rank (jk) but am proud to say that I am sure they had more outdoor experiences and skills than a combo-platter of any three Eagle Scouts! Glad you were bear-free. Come back to MN and we'll fetch you some bears! Hope all is well in the land of metal trees! Love, Dad M
yes I also wish i was as hard core as you guys. i think hotels are our lot in life.
Hahah I loved Dad's comment!! :)
How do you know the Burbanks? We don't really know them, but they moved into our first ward in Sandy right when we got married (and then we quickly moved out!)
