Friday afternoon Lib and I went on a bike ride together in a new location: Hobble Creek Canyon. I describe it as 'majestic'---it was truly beautiful and a wonderful way to start the weekend. The next morning I got up early and went on another ride, up into the same canyon, entering Uinta National Forest. The changing colors, the cool weather and fresh air--it was truly invigorating. Here are a few pics.
A few notables from the trip: 1) Lib got attacked by a raccoon. Okay, actually she fell over on her bike and got scraped. 2) I fell over, also, in front of the golf course. 3) There was a golf course, and it was amazing. And cheap. We just watched. 4) I turned a corner and was scared to death by a cow that was sneakily hiding right on the side of the road. Good thing I had two hands on the bars--I was seriously shaking. Stupid cows.
